Hi all! I've been snooping around, reading a lot of different threads and posts and finally decided that I needed to join. We got our very first (mini) flock in March, and have been enjoying every day with them since. We've got 4 Barred Rock hens, a GLW hen and a GLW roo! All were supposed to be pullets, but we're very happy with how our young man is turning out, and how well he takes care of the ladies We have already gotten our first egg early last week, and completed our first dozen yesterday! Again, I am very happy to be a part of this awesome community you have created here at BYC! Thank you all in advance for the continuing knowledge and tips I know I'll gain!
