I heard back from the nice woman who let her Black Copper Marans broody hen hatch some eggs for me this late in the season, she found 3 lil fuzzy butts under her hen today and there are 3 eggs left, not sure if they will hatch or not but either way I will have some BCM chicks
I have wanted them for a while because I think the Wade Jean line with feathered legs are BEAUTIFUL and couldn't find any locally until I found her through craigslist. Hopefully I will get at least one pullet out of the 3+ that I get so I can expand the flock a lil bit, I would like to keep 6-8 pullets and a roo for a nice clean line that I will keep separate from my other chickens.
