Sunday night was the first night I let my chicks say out in their coop all night. I woke up over and over worrying about them and got up at 5:30a to let them out. They had been out in the run during the day but I wanted to wait until it was above 60 degrees to leave them out during the night. I had to physically put them into the coop at dusk since they were only used to being in the run during the day. Last night they put themselves to bed!!! I was SO excited that they went in all by themselves! I realize this is "newbie excitement", but I can't help it. I was amazed that it only took them two days to figure out where their new bedroom was...lol! It's the little things.
