HI all! My name is Stephanie and I live in the Bay Area, California. I'm new to being a chicken mama!! I have 6 chickens. 2 Wyandottes (one silver, one gold), 2 Rhode Island Reds, and 2 Australorps 
they are all about 5.5 months old. They haven't started laying eggs yet but I think they are all getting so close! we added one of the Australorps recently (things went well introducing her thankfully!) and I think that may have stalled egg laying. We are dealing with some respiratory stuff in two of them but have them on a few things to help kick it. I've been looking for a community like this as I don't have any friends with chickens or neighbors with chickens for that matter! I'm looking forward to all the advice from fellow chicken parents on here. Chickens are just so much fun
