so nice to meet you! rsleghornchicki, you sound like me, I have some buff orps set to hatch on Groundhog Day and I am so excited! It's my first hatch and I'm on the edge of my seat! I think my husband thinks I've lost my marbles cause I'm fussing over this incubator practically 24/7
Hi and from Ohio. So glad you joined. Good luck with your hatch. It does get a little easier each time, but the excitement and nervousness never seems to go away.
nice to meet you! I have been a nervous ninny over these eggs! Part of them went into lockdown tonight. I only have one incubator with a staggered hatch (2nd hatch within 6 days of the 1st) and didn't realize the humidity would be an issue towards the end. Going to increase to 67% and bring it back down to 40% after the 1st eggs hatch and hope for the best.
Needless to say, I've learned my lesson and won't be doing any more staggered hatches until I get a second incubator!
