Well my girls turned 4 months turned 4 months at the end of June. I know it's too early but started checking the nest boxes in case about a week ago to get in the habit. Went out of town this weekend and came home. Checked on the girls, filled the water,checked the nest box. Suprise! My first egg. Found a broken one in another box but it didn't look like it was eaten, big mess. Think maybe I should have put a bowling ball in there.
