Boy he looks good Cyn! I do see what you mean about that foot. My fingers are still crossed for him. He deserves a full recovery along with his human parents deserving it also.

Wow, Cyn - Zane's looking good! Looks like he's put some weight back on, and his color is great! Good thing his wings work so well, to help with the balance while his leg is still (HOPEFULLY!!) recovering. It's so neat how they figure it out....my leg's not working right, so I'll just use my wings for balance! Smart boy.

Here is some major progress...Zane actually mated Gypsy....well, almost, LOL. The coke crate we're using as a table for Zane's feed and water when he's in the sling got in the way, but he was up there and almost completed the deed. It wore him out, poor guy, but now I know he can mate the ladies. My concern is his two brothers leading the flock; will they sense the disability and attack him. Will he always have to be separate for his own safety? All that remains to be seen. Anyway, here he is with Gypsy today:

How sweet Miss Gypsy is. I'm sure it just makes Zane's day and lifts his spirits when he has his lady friend with him!
