so I am a chicken and animal abuser

That would be the last time her friend entered my property.

I have found with certain individuals will say if confronted "I was only being honest" Pleeeeeese

We have a choice to embrace others differences and grow, always grow.....
or
Judge others when they have a different outlook on life then there own. Only to come to the conclusion... it's the wrong way.

Unfortunately for her...it's her loss...

Dont let sheeple ruffle your feathers! That type of person will never have anythhing to offer other then BS and snide remarks. Its their nature.

BTW raccons will come back from way more then a few miles. We tried it once prior to relocation lawsand Grandpa came back 15 miles and had him in 2 days. Aside from that moving coons is illegal in many area as they are a rabies vector species. We moved him north. We later find out if you take them laterally across a few water shed areas they didnt come back. Who knows but yeah moving them isnt a good idea and they are then educated to traps. The reason Grandpa was so easy was that he was being fed for years by prior owners of a house and literally would eat out of your hand.

When they try to get home they may get in fights and either spead something they are carrying to others or pick up somthing in their travels aiding to the spread of disease.

woman came to replace some hens (predators I believes but she said the problem was fixed) anyway she wanted to buy 3 of mine and brought a friend. Well in the course of taking her around (after spraying her shoes with Lysol) she asked about the hot wire. I told her about my coon situation (see my I Hate Coons post) she said I was a horrible woman, I tried to explain that just dropping it off a few miles away was not a better solution, oh well.

I know it is illegal ........but maybe you could take a few Coons to her house...........

Blimey, fancy going nuts over an Eglu! Over here, the Eglu is the newest craze in backyard chicken keeping and the young thirty-something middle classes love them! They're a bit of a status symbol in actual fact. Very expensive too!

Personally, I'm a traditionalist and prefer the aesthetics of wooden houses and runs, but many people find that the plastic Eglus are practical, easy to clean, comfortable for the hens (the double walled structure keeps them cool in summer and warm in winter) and very cleverly designed. They are incredibly well thought out and all the accessories you could possibly need are available to make the hens lives totally comfortable (covered feeders, summer and winter shades, draught boards, even the chippings and kick boards to site the run on top of). The website is quite phenomenal. http://www.omlet.co.uk/homepage/homepage.php

I'm not sure that the standard runs they provide with them are actually really big enough (although they provide extensions), and the Elgus themselves do look tiny (but then they are only designed for housing two medium hybrids - you'd never want to keep Cochins or Orpingtons in there) but they have been met with rave reviews over here by a lot of people in the poultry world.

This woman sounds like a total moron.
