Well this is my first time owning chicks so I'm new to it and probably researching too much... I read a roo has more white and this chick has more white especially on the breast then the rest of the chicks. As for the leg color none of the chicks have very dark legs, they are a pale color with what I would call some smudges of black/brown on them. I am relieved you think she really is a she tho! Ty!Why do you think it's not a BR pullet?
It looks like a pullet to me.
Can't tell from pics but do they have yellow legs?
What color are the legs? Any better picture?Well this is my first time owning chicks so I'm new to it and probably researching too much... All I have is this I'll take a better photo when I get homeWhat color are the legs? Any better picture?
Good to know! Yes I will take a better pic tonight!Realize that you are not dealing with stock that is bred to the ideal standard. Many "obvious" tale tell signs are big question marks. I have recently raise BR pullets with light barring and very little grey wash on the legs but have matured out ñormal looking and have eggs to prove their gender.
Turn the light off when you take pictures. It alters the color.
