So I dropped an egg last night...

I dropped an egg. Instead of being annoyed with myself, I decided to look to see if it was fertilized. It looks good to me, but you all tell me since I'm still new to all things chicken, is it fertilized?

I can see a lighter circle just to the left of the reflection so it looks promising to me!

All eggs have a circle but it should be a bullseye if it is fertilized. I can't see if that is a bullseye or not though.

I don't think it's fertile.

What is your male/female numbers and ages?

One rooster, 8 months old, and two hens,18 months old and the other is around 2 or 3

what breed is your rooster? he would be old enough to breed if he were this, this, and this breed but if he were a slow maturing breed like this, this, and this breed he may not be mature enough yet

He's a barred rock Brahma mix.

brahmas are a slower maturing breed so he may not be mature enough yet and in their first year they are a little clumsy so your girls may not be getting bred yet

Lol. He certainly "clumsy". (Snickers) mostly in front of my in laws and always noisy. Lol. That's for a new thread I guess. :b I hope he has matured by spring.
