and my naughty chickens were VERY naughty. Apparently I was home PAST "out" time, and they got tired of waiting.
This is what I found when I opened the door to the backroom where they currently reside.
They busted out of the hole in the top where the heat lamp hangs on those chilly nights.
Anyway, I thought it was adorable.. AND was grateful that the door to the back was shut, I think my hubby would have been less amused if they had gotten all over the house.
I really have to finish that coop this weekend..
Edited to add: Oh yeah, that's Fugly the Mottled Houdan, Snowball (the ?) in the background, Trouble the Silver Duckwing Phoenix, and Lady the Leghorn (at least, I hope she's a lady..)
