OK, I set the eggs- I was incorrect about the capacity of the Sportsman- it holds 288, so my 91 eggs didn't even fill two trays.

I do have some others in there and I also went ahead and set the quail eggs as well.

More eggs in the mail tomorrow!

Buster, when you said you 'set' the eggs, does that mean they're in the bator and it's running? So can you add the new batches of eggs? I thought once the bator was going you couldn't open it - or is that when they're hatching?

The styrofoam bators are a lot more touchy about opening a lot because opening the top means you lose all the humidity and warmth.

I hatch in a HB 1588 but almost never open it during the last three days.
