So I guess I have a goose now?

The feed store told me it was a duck and I bought two. The other one I found out is a magpie duck female. But the other guy has nearly doubled in size in 3 weeks. Here are the pic first pic was taken early april and second about a week ago. Sure do love the little guy he/she follows me everywhere.

Looks like a goose based on it's bill. It shows similar traits to a saddleback pomeranian goose. If so males weigh around 15 lbs. and females 13 lbs. She/he's adorable by the way!

Definitely a goose.

But the other guy has nearly doubled in size in 3 weeks.

Are you sure you're giving it enough food? My 3 week old gosling weighs 4 pounds now, which is more than 12 times as much as when I got her.

Grass and grazing is very important to geese also ,so make sure your gosling gets plenty of grazing time. your duck will enjoy it too. One can graze the other can bug hunt
