My 8 week olds have been outside for 4 or 5 weeks now (its been warm) And they are doing perfectly fine...But they are currently inmy rabbit hutch with a homemade run..I want my rabbit hutch back,

I want to put them in with my older chickens who are 18 weeks old, but they peck at them, will they get over it quick? Or is it gonna go on forever? My younger ones are bantys and most of the older ones are standard. Do you think they will just pick on them for a few days and then stop, or will they keep trying to hurt them?

I had to keep mine separated inside the coop for 3 weeks. I used an extra large dog kennel and I switched out the flocks of who went in the kennel equally. If I didn't do this, I'd have dead chicks for sure. It was a long 3 weeks, but I slowly integrated them and supervised all the time they spent together. It was well worth the work. Good luck!
