Yeah...but I don't blame him...I probably had over one hundred people ask me about it and one guy was arguing with me and telling me it wasn't a Sussex because those are Brown with white dots, LOL

Congrats on your first show! With the not so popular breeds this happens. I've noticed my araucanas hardly get looked at. In fact, the judges so far have never even considered any of my best of breed birds for the best of class round. Even the ameraucanas I've taken that were in much better condition that the games that always win AOSB. So I just keep showing hoping a judge gets interested in them!

Humm, interesting. For some reason I thought the judges would at least know each breed but I guess there are too many. I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your white houdan, no wonder she won.

I've been folowing your agony about your dirty white bird, and I'm so glad things worked out well for you! Looking back, do you think you were overstressing, or are you relieved that you put so much into it? Just curious; I have my first show coming up in a month, with a white bird, and I'm considering "practice baths", considering your trial.
