So, I really do not trust my primary care doctor now RANT

Don't fall in love with that topical stuff! My mother's podiatrist told her she "needed" it and she's been spending $91.55 A MONTH on that stuff. She's 80 years old and living on a retiree's income.

Good luck with finding a doctor you like. I've known some good ones and I've known some that I wouldn't let touch my dog.

I feel your pain. I try to see the PA instead of my PCP. PA is much more thorough. Also, she doesn't try to give me a new drug every time I walk in the office. Can you say "drug company kick back"?

I usually see the PA. She was the one I saw just last week when I went in for a BP check. The one that made the comment about how good I look and that it must be the "drugs" that I am NOT taking.

She suggested I "think about" going on the new HBP pill that is actually my two (HBP and the water pill) combined. I had heard about it through doing my own research the week before and found that it would be twice as much as my separate pills together. So I told her I was fine just taking the two pills I have been taking. Well those plus the aspirin my cardiologist has me on now since weaning off the blood thinner he had me on. Sadly the aspirin does nothing for the ankle pain.

I try not to put as much stuff in my body as possible. And I try to do the same for my daughter. I hate giving her anything unless she is really needing it.
