So I went to the feed store today..... POLISH CHICK Pic!

So I went to the feed store today for supplies for the coop I'm building, and they had Chicks, not just Chicks, POLISH chicks, and I have been really really wanting some Polish! So somehow I talked hubby into letting me get 1, but she couldn't be lonely, so hubby let me get 2, but then the Owner of the feed store said there were only 3 polish left, we should take all 3. Jokingly Hubby said "Only if the deal is buy 2 get 1 free." And the guy said "Sounds good to me"...

HAHAHA Hubby never saw that coming! So Now I have 3 Silver Polish Pullets, which I am guessing is the same as Silver Laced Polish. Are all Polish Bantams, or are there Large Fowl Polish too? These chicks looked to be the same size as the Cochins they were brooding with, and nothing said Bantam, does that mean they are LF?

I have only seen Bantam White Crested Black Polish but that doesnt mean that they dont exist. They do look like silver laced. Thats what mine looked like when we first got our SL Polish chick. They are cute!

Thanks Guys!! I'm hoping these are LF, but I guess only time will tell. it's strange, these chicks are nicer than my chicks normally are, they actually seem to like being held.

So we have named the babies, if you have read the book Wicked or seen the Play, you will understand these names. They are : Galenda, Eflba, and Elfie, LOL!

Kelsey I love my polish but I notice that she likes to get up on really high things. Then she gets all happy. I think it's because all that fluff on her head blocks her vision a bit and when she gets up above everything her world becomes visible. I used to trim her "bangs" but not anymore. She's got it figured out now. I do hope you enjoy yours.
