I didn't post an intro before, because I found topics right away that I was interested in and starting chiming in.
My name is Beth and I live in WV with my husband, 4-year-old son and our pets (2 dogs, 4 cats and an aquarium). We're adding chickens in a few days, as soon as our coop is ready. The ones we're buying are from a neighbor. She has a number of 8 week old birds for sale. We'll probably get 8 or so. We live on 5 acres but with one neighbor relatively close on one side. The other sides are fields or woods. Our birds will be free ranging while we're home. Wish us luck! The forums are so helpful. I'm glad I found this site.
