This peacock adopted us four weeks ago. From the beginning he hasn't seemed to mind the cat, and frankly the cat (who chases anything that moves) seems unphased by the peacock. Is this normal? The two crack me up.

Yeah... my post yesterday had several responses that said he had apparently been grabbed by something and had most of his tail feathers yanked. I guess it was something bigger than a cat, though!

TomCat and Stancock get along and tend to lounge around together. They even join forces if they feel I should be outside. I looked out the bedroom window to find them both on top of the grill peeking in and making noise. Weirdos.

Perfectly normal when they are raised around these kind of critters and this is also an indication that someone has had this pea for a while for that to happen.

at "weirdos' (Courts Clucks) ..... This bird also sits and stares in the living room window allllll day. Further proof I think he must not be a wild bird.

And Zazouse ....those are wonderful pictures..... Just a big happy family. I love it.

My cat tries to play with Argos the Kool, but he's having none of it...usually he just pecks or jumps back at the cat, but sometimes he runs.
