Well, my little Hillary, who turned out to be Hank, has gone to live with his new (very nice,vegetarian)family.

I already miss the little fella!!!

The day after tomarrow I will go pick up my new Barred Rock chick, and start all over.

So far the only thing about this whole chicken business that I don't like is that darned 10% uncertainty that comes with buying some of the breeds I love. Ugh.

Not an easy task when it comes to Roosters. And a vegetarian family at that!!!

I certainly won't. Although if I end up with another roo, I might be so bummed I just hang up my coop.

Yup. That's what I was saying-the breeds I wat all have the possibility of heartbreak.
