I'd say the best thing to do, even before you get new ducks or other guard pets, is to figure out a better way to keep predators away from your ducks. You and your parents could look through the "Predators & Pests" section of BYC to get some ideas for keeping the ducks protected. For example, if you have especially persistent predators, you could do some reading about how to set up an electric fence and your parents could help you build one. Best of luck!
