So movement in 3 eggs day 19 and one hatched! Well now others are lifeless after being rolled around

They were shipped eggs and 3 never fertilized and one was a quitter about a week in. So 6 fertilized out of ten and made it to full term.

Ahhh well it's probably no good but to be one the safe side I'd use the light to be sure before culling it I'm sorry though

What would the light show at this stage if they are no longer going to make it? Would it be a dark area or a blood ring

I would just look at the air see if the chick is still moving trying to make a while if no movement cull it

Should it be in the air sac? If it’s not into the air sacwhat should it look like? Just the empty cell

If it's dead you wont see any movement and it will just be black except the air cell the air cell will just be empty looking

I really think humidity issues and being shipped eggs caused the poor hatch rate. I will try it again soon but I am very thankful we at least have 2!

The eggs being moved by the first chick should not affect your hatch rate at all. How did you calibrate your thermometer and hygrometer? Does your bator have a fan? What did you use for temp and humidity?
