My Mother gets free tomatoes from the local farm stand which are brused or not perfect, beacuse the lady can't sell those.
My Mom has been such a good customer that the lady just gives them to her. Seems like such a waste.

One of the orchards I occasionally visit sells bags of "utility apples" (translation: the ugly ones) for considerably less than the bags of prettier specimens. The same taste for less money? Works for me!
