So my egg is weird shaped it's happened twice now whts wrong??

It starts normals then has this weird ridge then gets pointy what is causing this? It's been both times I'm guessing the same chicken Bc it's the brown with white spots eggs I get

Nothing to be concerned about as far as I know. Eggs just turn out a little strange sometimes.

Its more common in new layers

They are only about a month of laying.

I have some hens who always lays eggs like that, so sometimes it's just what they are going to do, and sometimes they just lay a wonky egg.

That's what it looks like when the shell breaks/fractures early during the shelling process, then it continues to gain shell that covers up the crack.
If you candle the egg you might be able to see a crack.
I've had a few who have those pretty regularly.
It's called a 'body checked egg' and according to this 'article' more common in older birds, but I've seen it in all ages.

No...chances are that egg is pretty hard.....just got a bump early on during the 24 hours it takes to form the shell.
