so my hens(muscovy) are roosting at night(? regards to duck barn)

So now i am trying to sort out, what should i incorporate in my duck barn to accommodate this? There currently housed in a horse trailer at night

while duckville is being built, if your familar with a horse trailer the hens are roosting up in the feed bunker.

We we're going to put nestboxes in the duck barn but now i am questioning how to place these, since they seem to like to roost... so should we raise the nestboxes? or what do you provide for your muscovy hens to 'roost' in there night time housing.

I would think a 2x4 placed wide side up would be a good roost. I would leave the nest boxes at floor level since they nest on the ground.
