I am not a religious Bible thumper by any means, but I love Joel Olsteen and his wonderful positive attitude. If he turns out like Jim Baker or Swaggert, I swear . . . . but my two granddaughters, 11 and 12 (which is at an age where this is SO critical) started watching him by accident. Erin was telling me the other day that he was talking about how sometimes we all think or wonder why we are even here, or maybe we should never have been born . . .but he said NO matter what your parents tell you, or anyone else tells you, GOD is one who determines when and who is born. . .Erin thought was such a nice thing to hear, and I am so glad. Everyone needs to feel valued, and you know the sad thing about your mom? She will LOVE that baby more than she ever loved her own kids and the fact that its her granddaughters baby makes this little baby even more special. . .and more loved. She was just thinking outloud, which is not good, but to put it on Facebook is just beyond me. . . .that is why I hate these type of internet chat rooms. I think they cause trouble in some cases and hurt a lot of feelings. I have a facebook page, but I just don't care for it. Give me private ole' emails anyday. Guess I am old school.
