So one of my Wyandottes is crowing but they all look the same. Can anyone tell me how to differentiate roosters from hens?

Are those all the same bird, or 3 different birds? If those are different birds, you may have more than one cockerel on your hands

I can help with this! I had a similar problem.

This is what you use the colored poultry leg bands for! (Now if you are worried about their effects long term, you can take them off after you figure out what's going on.)

The idea is to get them on just long enough to be able to watch their behavior, and learn which one is doing what. After you've figured this out its like night and day! But when they are all moving around together fast, during the day its hard to figure out who is who and who is doing what. I had this problem with 5 peking ducks that look like clones of each other. I couldn't tell anything about who was who and who was doing what mischief first.

After you learn to distinguish them and their behavior you can take them off.

Also you want to get the colored bands that have more than 2 colors.
