sort of. ATM moment it's looking likely that this

Is going to be the replacement for the

    Chicken Favela

With a little good old Belizean make-do and judicious use of some thatching it should turn out to be a relatively comfortable, predator safe place for them to sleep at night. Still working on the run design, although they'll still be allowed free run of the whole yard most of the time.

    Whaddaya think? Am I nuts?

You are not nuts. Very resourceful. Wish I had room for a big ol' bus. Hope the hens don't squabble about who gets to drive. Post pictures upon completion, please.

Quote:Me either! The dogs are doing a great job, but a boa's going to find them sooner or later. He better run if the pigs find him though!

    They got it moved!

    Reba is supervising.

It's almost level, just waiting for the last two posts for the front and the chassis can come out from under.

    View from the front.

    Yep, that would be clay...

Well it's now level and the boys almost got the gooseneck loose, but I shut them down when it got too dark to find a lost finger or hand. [IMG]

The Peanut Gallery were all watching from the Favela. I'm going to steal a coop and run design from here and put runs underneath the bus. (so I can put particular birds together)

The sunsets from my porch are about my favourite time of day.

Nuts? Heck, no! Very good-thinking of you [IMG] Man, I'd like to have a "coop" that big [IMG] My mom and sister would probably want to paint the bus a different color, and then paint on some barn scenery or pink flowers.

    Keep us posted!
