So Proud!!!

I'm so proud of my hens!!!! Today I decided to guess how many eggs my chickens would lay and I have nine hens. So this morning I made a guess that'd I get four eggs. Well I just collected them and each and evrey hen laid an egg today!!!! I'm so proud of them!!! The last time I've had them all lay was two YEARS ago!!

I told them (we all talk to our chickens right? lol) that I'd make them a chicken cake!! haha which will probably consist of bread and fruit... lol

But anyways I took a picture!

I haven't had that happen since this spring. Of course, I had 5 hens laying then, since one was broody for three months....

Its apparently finally time for my pullets to start laying! I gave away my four year-old Brahma hens last week (and their rooster), so I only had 2 Polish hens laying. Then, two days ago, I found a brown egg in the nest box! My Barred Rock his laying! Yay!
