I have been so excited to receive the chicks I ordered from Meyer Hatchery way back in February. I eagerly awaited my 2 green queens, 2 silver laced Cochins, 1 Easter Egger, and 1 black Jersey giant. They came today...except all were dead but 1 And that one isn’t doing great. It seems lame on its right side and has a hard time staying upright. The one that is still alive is the one at the top of the first pic. Sorry, I know they are graphic. I am sooo sad

That is too bad! Call the hatchery immediately and insist on a full refund, if they are not able to send another order. How many days were they in transit?

I had a similar story from My Pet Chicken. Heart breaking, to say the least. I won't order chickens for delivery ever again.

I have called 3 times and sent an email, but haven’t been able to reach anybody. They shipped Monday evening and arrived this morning.

The poor baby that is left is struggling. When she arrived, her head was completely backwards (see pic). I gently got it turned the correct way, but she keeps wanting to turn it back around backwards. She keeps falling over backwards and it appears that her left leg is either broken or she has neurological issues. Note that the roght foot is clinched up and has been that way since this morning when I discovered that, by some miracle, she was alive.

I have been dipping a q-tip in sugar water to give her an energy boost. She tries to move around, but just can’t seem to make it. She’s alert and cheeping, but I don’t know what to do
