That is truly sad. I could care less if it was the vaccine for swine flu or just the flu, no one deserves that.

I have had one flu shot in my life and will NEVER do it again. I took it as a preventative and spent 8 days in the hospital so sick I could not stand up.

They can bite me if they think I am getting myself or my family flu shots. That stuff is bad news. No thank you.

There is a study going on right now, that is indicating that three flu shots in a row can greatly increase your chances of alzheimers. Now, I know that there are going to be people from everywhere say, "well, aunt Gertie never had a flu shot and she died of alzheimers." Yes, that's true, but my son is an LPN, getting ready to start pre-med and he said aluminum cookware is attributing to it, that was NOT an old wives tale after all, and guess what they put in flu shots????? Mercury and aluminum and it goes straight to the brain.

That poor girl; I hope God lays his hand upon her and heals her.

We live in a lying society. High end medical providers are NOT going to tell us the truth about what some of this stuff is going to do to us. Its way too much money not too. And, if you think this flu vaccine is a bunch of hooey, listen to this. One of the companies that makes vaccines was just given close to a $500 million grant or sub. from the gov. to build a huge plant to produce vaccines in one of the Virginias I think. My DH takes 15 different medications, he researches this all the time and has found out some very interesting things that they do not want us to know. I am very thankful the meds he takes are out there, but we also don't know what its going to do to him in the end. I suggested to him one night when we were talking about "the end" that it might be a good idea for him to donate his body to science so they can see first hand what all these meds do to a human body. He actually thought it wasn't a bad idea, after he pulled himself up off the floor!

I'm not much of a medication person myself. I think we are an over-medicated society. although there is certainly a place for meds.

The reason the companies are given grants to produce the vaccine is because they don't make a whole lot of money on vaccine production. Most pharm companies would rather make the very money-making meds such as cholesterol reducers, anti-depressants, etc.

Yes, me either although I do take vitamins. I think people should listen to their pain and try to fix the problem instead of covering it up(I do know some people that really do need it but just in general....).

My husband gets a print out about how much his medicines cost if we had to pay out of pocket . . .one blood pressure patch he uses is over $1300 for a three month supply. We pay $14 for a three month supply. Think what Poor Joe Blow would have to do in order to use these same patches? It is a money game, and the insurance companies are naturally screaming the walls down about this gov. health plan because it will cut deeply into their profits. . .my DH can get on his soap box about this, and give you the whole story. Luckily we have great insurance. He is 58 and can keep it until he is 65 and then who knows what will happen . . .scary scary times. Especially if you are sick.
