Its always a treat to come home from work and go out to the coop to find my daily gift of fresh eggs from the girls. Yesterday though, I came home to find my best layer dead. What happened? I think it was the heat... is this possible? All I did different is start them on denagard. They had been coughing a bit and nothing else I tried would get rid of it. I thought it myhave been because she didn't drink enough being that I heard that denagard makes the water bitter. The water they drank wasabout right though being that there was one bird less drinking. I dunno. What do y'all think?

I am so sorry for your loss. I am a newbie to chicken raising so my personal knowledge is limited. Hopefully, someone here will have some answers for you. Hope the rest of your girls are okay.

Hugs from a fellow chicken owner...
