I can't imagine what it is like to have a family history of cancer. Your story is absolutely chilling!!!

You know, it is not just the loss of a really good, close friend, it is all of you here, some of whom I consider my personal friends. I am very happy to see more you fighting and winning than the ones who fought and lost. One is too many. However, the number people still here, with us, sharing their struggles; those are the ones that keep everyone going. Even us cancer free people.

I read a statistic once: 100% of humans have cancer when they die.

I can;t really remember, but have many of you changed your diet much since the diagnosis?

Debi - It's not always the food we eat, but I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. I've always eaten good foods. I love berries and always eat them, eggs and salmon, steak too. I love my veggies and fruit! I usually have organic flax seed cereal or eggs for breakfast. Lunch could be anything from tuna fish, grilled chicken and fruit with yogurt. Dinner I get lazy sometimes and throw a Bertolini bag on the stove - ready in 10 min.

I hardly ever eat other packaged foods. I eat lots of salads too.

I was told my estrogen level went wonky which caused a cancer to start. BUT that estrogen level went wonky for a reason. Pollution is a major one. Our tissues absorb the crap in the air or water and messes with our hormones.

Meanwhile all us little people have to fight cancers and have fund raisers and rallies to get $$$ to help find a cure. Why - with all those years of studies and trying to find a cure, and the cure has not been found. (??) I'm a little skeptical on that department.

I saw a bumper sticker the other day, I can't repeat it here (PM me if you want to know what it said) i cheered when I saw it!! LOL
