I've been compiling all my info for the big appt tomorrow an decided to read thru my MRI report. Seems like the radiologist wanted me to have pet scan or bone scan and the dr never told me. That was a month ago. Should I be upset over that? I'm definately going to ask the drs tomorrow about getting one!

yuck...........I have to do a CT scan in January. Don't wanna. The scan itself isn't bad, but I had a really bad reaction last time. Maybe it had to do with eating tuna salad afterward???? (with contrast) I had the shakes really bad for hours than got violently sick. They want it done for comparison - well, I don't want it done.

But I'll do it.

oh yes i would be ticked to....i had all three .........they found the cancer had come back .....thru a pet scan.......easy test also

I just wish i could take the pet scan every 3 months.......insurance only pays for 2 a year.

Cancer can grow alot in 6 months...they do blood work ....but my cancer has never showed up on them, from day one..

That's good to know. Is the bone scan like an MRI? That was loud!
