I had a nice weekend.
I hope you all had a nice one too! The weather was very nice and although I wasn't allowed to do too much, I managed a little gardening here and there and quit when an hour was up. And
made myself rest a bit. Then I just watched the chickens do their destroying technique in my other garden area that I have at the base of an old oak. It was a little frustrating.......I wanted to build up the fence around that tree so they don't eat my hostas, but I couldn't do anything about that and they've continued to munch down the poor little spikes of hosta trying to emerge from the ground
Then they found my lily of the valley!
I think I have a roll of chicken wire somewhere.........
The port they put in is heavily bandaged and itchy as all heck. It's located under my right collar bone. I managed to pull some bandage off just a little to take a peek.
Well I saw bruising (well, who'da thought?) and a couple of stitches all by their self, I think those are the ones they have to pull next week. I didn't look any further then that. I'll see that sucker soon enough. So today I sit around waiting for the phone call to get me back in and discuss the CT scan and other stuff.
I have to admit, I have the big toe of my left foot in the river of Denial. Every once in a while I'll pull my foot out and see how long I can face the reality of it and then say "OK, that's enough of that" I'm sure that will change in the next couple of weeks. eeeeek
