Hi Luna! I keep missing you. I started that chemo cap, and think it might be too big. I should start over. If I'm lucky, you'll be done your chemo, and grow your own hair back before I even get a chance to finish it.

I took my Dex today, that's why I'm up right now, walking around the house wondering what I should do next

Transplanted things in my yard til it poured. Sewed like a banshee, now I'm here. I hope I crash soon. Had my blood work done, I'm good to go for tomorrow. This will be my 3rd installment - then I'm halfway through. June I have two treatments, the 2nd and then again on the 23rd. It just happened to be twice this month. yak yak yak, ramble ramble

On the 14th Paul & I leave for a short trip to Montauk, NY. Never been there, it's not far from home, and that will be a good week between Dr. visits! I'll take my quilt that I'm working on for my one daughter, I'll be hand quilting it. We have an ocean view (for Paul) and a wild green nature area for the rear view (for me) and privacy so I can be free to be without the wig. Lots of historical quaint towns/villages to visit, restaurants, etc. And I'll be haunting some antique shops. Five days and four nights, I'm looking forward to getting away for a little bit.

Yup, she's buzzing! Dex keeps me up for days. I swear, even on chemo, I could feel hair trying to grow. Werid tingly feelings all over your body. And then "Roid Rage". I applogized to poor Lurchie before and after each episode.

sounds like you are keeping yourself positive and keeping yourself busy. do you think all this energy is the meds, or is a bit of adrenaline?

I have to take it again tomorrow THEN they give me more as a drip before the chemo, but they also give me benadryl - so it evens out. But then I get jumpy legs and get restless, and I can't just get up and walk around. So I sit like a good girl and do crossword puzzles and keep adjusting myself so my legs don't bother me, good thing everyone sleeps or I would drive them crazy. Like that squirmy kid you had sitting next to you in school

Oh I have those! I'm taking my straw hat, but I think I need a floppier one. Lots of scarves.....and a cute little hippie number that Orp sent. That one I wear when I'm having my coffee.
