Hope you are enjoying your vacation honey.... I LOVE your drum .. I have a dumbek that I love to use for healing magic.. It is amazing the energy that a drum puts out...

I hope the vacation is going perfectly! The weather is wonderful here, so I am hoping the same for you.

(need a better picture of that port.) Bet you knew you could count on me for that

The weather's been nice! Sunny and 73 average. Views are great. Pricey area though

and every place we wanted to check out was only open on the weekends.

Due to the economy, but they don't say that in the brochures.........So we've been eating a lot

and hiking around. We went to the Montauk lighthouse, one of the oldest in North America. We had a piggy lunch so I was determined to climb those stairs.....110 feet. I was a little nervous at first but thought about what really is scary, and - I went right up.

Paul wouldn't do it, so I waved at him down below.

The air smells so fresh out here. We leave our windows open and sleep hearing the ocean's rhythm

I'm getting a lot of quilting done with my daughter's quilt. My drum is sitting in the corner waiting for me. I'm still reading the book, plus two other books.

We passed the sign a few times! It's right on Montauk hwy. I never saw any cars there, so I wasn't sure about that place!

Everything here is seafood! And very good! I'll take a peek at the place tomorrow.

Glad you are off having some fun. That sea air always makes food taste so much better. Has been hot a heck here. Watch the T'storms blow by everyday and not a drop have made it's way to my garden!!

Writer----Hmmm someone out in the middle of the high desert likes lighthouses, lol I forget what the total number of lighthouses there are along the NJ coast. There is a bunch. There is a small one on the bay side just where the Maurice River enters into the bay. The East Point Lighthouse. It's one of the smaller ones. They have really fixed it and the area around it up in the last few years. Most folks, my husband, included, thought all of NJ was like Camden and Newark, not realizing there was so many small town and villages. Many of the relied on the Bay and the ocean for their livelyhood. I work in a town call Bivalve the summer after high school gradution shucking clams all summer. I had arms like Popeye the Sailor man by the time August came around, lol.

Oh yeah, in NJ you don't go to the beach. You got down to the shore, lol
