I was thinking about you yesterday! I drove through a town called 'Muscadine' south of Jacksonville.
I was hoping you were fit!
Good to hear from you!
And yes, blue and red is a great look! I saw some purple and bright green the other day, and thought that if I was really young and brave I would give that a try! but I did finally get my ears pierced two weeks ago.

'brave' isn't my strong suit.

I know your body will continue to get better and better, You really went through it.

My sister and I found the red and blue spray at a yard sale. Three cans for .25 so we had to get them. I regret not getting more pictures. I got a real funny look from my old man but through the years he has learned to go with the flow, not rock the boat. He is very supportive and I think most of the time he doesn't want to know what I've gotton into.

So glad you are doing so well!!! You know me, still fighting! I'm going to get hit by a bus before I let Cancer take me down! We are still pushing for legal use here in NC. We will eventually win at that too!

You've got to pop in here more often!!

I'm back, my body is getting stronger everyday because it's getting food everyday. If it wouldn't for the MJ I know I would not be alive right now. I'm going to find out when the reconstruction is going to get started. I almost want to enjoy the summer before having the surgery. I may just and wait until then.
Oh and I have missed everyone.

i absolutely admire everyone here for their courage and fight!
i recently found out my dad has prostate cancer. it's early, and his PSA levels have been monitored for a couple of years, but now he has to have it removed. no radiation or chemo, but it's still so scary! he'll be 68 a week after the surgery.
when he told me on the phone, he totally downplayed it to keep me from worrying, but i'm a worrywart anyway.

BUT, i am so encouraged by the strength of will i see on this thread!! you are all amazing!

love to all,
hilary

So I would like to say hi, my name is Jennifer and I do not have cancer but my mother does. Of course we were in total sock when we found out. She is 69 and never sick, can out work people half her age and was a health nut!! They found what they called a huge mass and after surgery told us she has stage 3 ovarian cancer. She also had to have a colostomy.
She took her first chemo on Friday and so far so good as to how she is feeling. I am sure the next day or so is when she will really start to feel it.
I have been with her every single day since her surgery and it has been a rough road but I want everyone to no about something that has helped her like no other!!! I don't no if any of you have read about this or not but it is sooooo worth
looking into. If you get on youtube and look up Rick Simpson Run from the cure and watch the full length version. I was like WOW! I am willing to try anything that will help my mom and for any of you that are having a hard time with pain, sleeping, eating, depression ect I can tell you how great this stuff is working for my mom. To no what I am talking about you will have to watch the video and it is soooo worth watching!! B4 and after her surgery she had lost so much weight and jsut wouldn't eat. Now I can tell you that her appitite is incredible and she is gaining weight. Attitiude is great and sleeping like a baby too. She also doesn't have to take her pain medicine at all. This stuff has made a world of difference and I think everyone should no about it so I encourage you all to watch the video!! She has been taking it about a month now and I can't tell you how much it has helped her!
After you watch it if you have any question please fell free to ask me. I just can't rave enough about it!!
I'm on a mission of trying to let eveyone no about this! I haven't read all the posts and maybe someone else has talked about this b4???
This is the link to the video.

Your Dad has the key to surviving! Bump in the road. Get it taken care of and on with life. YOU have to believe the same. I personally believe if you invite negativity into your life, you are going reap negativity. Dad is gonna be FINE!!!

My neighbor was diagnosed at the age of 65. His doctor told him he could never ride his riding lawnmower, his 4-wheeler and probably wouldn't want to spend much time riding in a car. He basicly told his doc to go to................... He had the surgery. 6 weeks later was the beginning of hunting season and he was leading "the boys" on the 4-wheelers to the best hunting spots. He recently turned 85 and is going strong.

The video is awesome. I had anorexia for 4 years when I found out I had cancer. I told my oncologist I want make it. I knew I wouldn't eat and I knew I would die. After starting chemo I told my oncologist it was very easy to be anorexic while on chemo. She gave me a script of marinol. I had no idea what marinol was so I was really tripping at the pharmacy. Pot pills, I had no idea it was legal in Alabama. I know weigh 130lbs. The stuff works. It should be legal in all the states. I now feel terrible for people that don't have access to it.
