So....talk about.....CANCER SUPPORT THREAD !!

Sorry Randy. Sometimes cancer really S*U*C*K*S! Prayers for your friend, his family and you. Hold tight to the good memories. In the years to come, tell his children of how he stood in the face of fear and fault as a true warrior.
Blessed Be.

Just five more days til my surgery so I did make it through the summer. This time there is no tissue to work with so it will be taken from other places and the muscle from my back will have to be worked around to the breast area. AWWWWW Well I am just excited that I am here to receive it. Coyote was right, I had myself kicking the bucket I think before any treatment was even started. You got to fight that good fight.

I hope everyone is doing and feeling well.

Randy very sorry to hear about a young father losing his fight with Cancer.........40 is real young....I know how hard it is to go see someone in those last days, proud of you going to see your friend.

Sara best wishs on the new headlights.....but bet you look great without them too...

Dad's labs are back. Out of remission, and I can't get a straight answer from them about a time frame. I will be taking the kids to visit as soon as possible with school and work. We don't have years but we seem to have months, though who knows with this *(&$&^%# disease. He's been there for me all my life. He taught me everything important that I know about how to be a good person and live a good life. This is pretty awful.

Roe,
I am very sorry to hear this. You all will be in my thoughts.
Take the kids out of school and see if you can get the work to take with you.
See if they can work ahead and make up some later.
I am sure the teachers can figure out a way to work with you.
Grandparents are important.

Red is good hair color. It is sassy and brash and full of attitude.

Randy. I am so sorry for your loss to this horrid disease. Ironically, my best friends hubby that passed from bile duct cancer was named Randy. So you go on and live life and carry a great man's name with you.

I miss him. She gave Ken all his shirts and he has been wearing them more lately. I like seeing Ken in Randy's shirts.

Well, I got a call from my friends family this morning. He's home and on hopice care. Probably doesn't have but a few days left. I went to see him today and he was able to open his eyes and say hey but then he was out again. He's only 40 and has two little kids.
