I love kayaking. We didn't get a chance to get out at all this summer. Katie has never gotten to ride in my boat like Spook did. Next summer for sure. Thankfully we don't have any trees close enough to the house to have to worry about raking. I actually go gather up peoples bags of leaves and throw them in my tractor. Chickens tear them up after a couple of days and then I toss them in the garden.

I am doing well also, my family is pulling together and pressing on. We do have another long cancer battle ahead of us though. My Dad's brother has throat cancer. They found it a few weeks ago and are treating it aggressivly. I am praying for good results. He is tollerating the chemo well so far and that is encouraging

Exactly!!! It y'all are kicking, it's a GREAT day. Is anyone following my hubs nephews injury posts? Not cancer, but he DID almost die.

Sorry to hear. you have to battle this cancer......but the meds. and treatments have come along way.....myself i get to take chemo pills now in place of the chemo pump, Not sure what type you have .......so many types out there.....but more and more people are winning their fights..Just know you will ,don't give up .

I know they will be down days.....just jump on here....somebody will pick you up.
