Did my PET yesterday. They told me I would have no side effects from the sodium fluoride.
I must be special cause I got beautiful nausea and a very nice headache.
Should have result next week.
Hope everyone is hanging in there!!!

I made it this far to let you know that you are still in my thoughts.
I just don't post as often.
keep me posted everybody, I am not on as much, but I do hunt this thread out and read it.
Take care!

Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes, everybody!!!

I ended up in the hospital last week after 3 episodes of syncope. I stand up, I fall down. Just as simple as that. Didn't feel it come on, just woke up on the ground. I've had 2 episodes of this 2 years ago, they didn't find nothing in all their test then either. We've increased the Marinol and it seems to be doing a good job on the neuropathy.

How is everybodyelse doing?

I had a hysterctomy a little over a year ago, partly because I was tired of nearly bleeding to death every month and partly because they thought I might have uterine cancer. The surgery itself wasn't too horrible, I had it done by a gynecological oncologist (I would highly suggest you do the same, because if it turns out you DO have cancer, your odds for beating it are much improved by using this type of doctor, it's proven in studies). She ended up doing it laparoscopically. Don't, however think that just because you only have one or two teeny little incisions showing that the surgery was nothing, cause it really is MAJOR surgery with lots of moving your innards around. As I said, the surgery itself wan't bad, I was released from the hospital the next day. However, for at least 6 weeks, you are gonna feel TIRED, and I mean EXHAUSTED TIRED. Also, if you have a complete hysterectomy (buth uterus and ovaries removed) you will go thru instant menopause, which the symptoms of that can last for several months. Looking back, I am VERY glad I had the surgery done, and actually wish I'd have had it done sooner. I never realized how glorious it can be to live without the heavy bleeding, the pain, and the worry about whether there was cancer (there wasn't). Best of luck to you, get yourself a gynecolgical oncologist to vastly improve your odds.

Well I feel like a real doofus for posting the above. When I clicked on this thread from the front pge it took me to page ONE, and I didn't look to see or notice that there were 244 pages since that first post. So sorry for being an idiot and posting something that had no bearing whatsoever on the current discussion here. My bad................
