For 2 weeks I been trying to find my hearing aids. I fell asleep one night and hubby came in and took my glasses and hearing aids off and put them on the end table (Thank you honey but BAD MOVE!). Well, woke up and they were GONE. My glasses were found but not my hearing aids. I knew INSTANTLY it was DD2 that got them. We have looked HIGH and low for the last 2 weeks trying to find them and had NO luck! My van keys were also missing for a few days, hubby put them on the desk and they vanished. Well, we found the keys in the hole in the arm of the couch. Still no luck with my hearing aids. I got my old one out and used that until we could find my new one. I was sure I placed my old one where she couldn't get to it but still, it vanished! (she is a climber!) Just today, hubby was cleaning up the livingroom, decided to clean up inside the couch. He flipped it over and out fell both of my hearing aids, from the small hole in the arm of the chair along with TONS of other things. I don't know why we didn't find it there before!! Time to get the thread out and sew that hole up! She has made her own private collection of stuff in there!

LEave the hole - then you will know where stuff is when you can't find it again. If you sew it closed, you'll be hunting again for the next hiding spot!

At least when you found them they didn't look like this:

Hubby's been wearing them for 30+ years and still doesn't understand why they need to be put away where the cats can't get them.....

I hear ya KD, I had to replace mine after my lab grabbed ahold of it one night when we were sleeping. She was lucky we were sleeping!! lol They are so not cheap and I make sure mine are completely out of reach of any critter that might mistake it for a treat!
