But clearly they are not

So, I'm wondering what they are!
I specifically told the guy helping me that those were what I wanted, seeing as they are supposed to be very gentle and docile (good for the kiddos!).

I've got a few young chick pictures, and some from this morning; they are three weeks old.

3 days old:

Toes (sort of!), but you can see they are yellow, not white:

Marta, our Buff O. for comparison:

And just for fun, one of our Barred Rocks, Lara

The two look like golden comets I have 25 about that age and the light colored looks like a very young Buff not sure the dark ones on the left.

Golden comets are suppose to have the temperment of the Buffs and the mix of laying potential of the RIR and the Buffs with better survive rates for the winter months if you are in Michigan and other colder states.

Well from the pics I can see they look like my Buff Orps and they are also 3 weeks. Not sure of the ones in theback though...look like a mix of some sort...maybe buff and RIR. They're wing markers are similar to my RIR, but they're lil heads are to yellow. And of course the black are Barred Rocks and I gotta tell ya, I have to of those also and they are almost more docile then my buffs. I just posted their 3 weeks pics on here if you'd like to compare there.

There, the pics should show up for everybody now (I was bad and didn't read the whole FAQ before posting!).

I'm just a little confused by the bits of dark brown/black in their feathers. The photos I've seen of Golden Comets/sexlinks aren't showing that.
