You might want to check your facts, the investigation into Vicks started oddly enough with a drug raid. Witness saw Vicks exchange large sums of money from bets on the fights on the grounds of his home. This was a interstate gambling ring with connections to organized crime. Vicks got off very easy. And I did not bring up the connection to Pete Rose only commented on it, they both were/are gamblers. One gambled uncontrollably and the other facilitated and made a business off of gambling. READ the reports.

The difference here is that plead of guilt or innocence is a fact
Accusations are just that an accusation.

Vick obviously had a real obsession with fighting dogs. He didn't need the money. He'll do it again and go to jail again. Then this issue will be a moot point.
