It will be 28 days for the first of my turkey eggs. I don't know if they are fertile. The little Silver Laced Wyandotte is sitting on 5 eggs now. I originally gave her 4 and thought that was a lot but after moving my turkey hen back in with them she has stolen another egg from the turkey and has 5 under her. She is a very good little broody chicken, very protective of her nest. So Saturday will be day 28 for the first egg. I'm hoping something hatches. How long should I give it before I take the eggs away from her, a week? Two?
