I really love both of my roos. They are really a complete joy to me. I'm not sure I'll see Bobby Lee do that again - now that I know his 2 girls are laying, I'll be sure to sit them in the nest boxes in the future! But it really was very sweet. Duke is the alpha roo and has his choice of the 21 hens - but poor Bobby Lee has to fight for any luvin he gets! Except from these 2 Spanishes - they hang with him all the time and never deny his advances

He's not "true" to them and will take what he can get from any of the other hens - but he clearly favors these two.
