So upset. =(

Yeah, she's is a good dog. We've never had to chain her, she stays put, knows our boundaries. Of course, we literally have no neighbors within 2 miles, so that helps, too.

I just don't understand what makes people think it is okay to drop off an animal. We've had 7 dogs dropped off in the 4 years we've lived here. 4 were a litter of pups they left in our garbage can. She's one of those garbage can pups.

I'm no dog expert, we never had dogs when I was a kid, so this is all new to me. I know she's okay with the chickens, they will actually roost on her when she's laying in the grass. I'm so hoping this was some random event.

Thanks for all the input.

Dog will be dogs... we had a cockerspaniel that was really good with animals, one day she picked up a baby bunny and was carring it around for some reason, I learned that bunnies and dogs don't get along.

lol, you won't like my opinion either... I encourage my dogs to chase all the kitties that come into my yard away....... walla!
No kittie problems!

The dog is your responsibility, you should maintain your committment to him and get rid of the strays... the way I see it, he's doing his job!
