So what are you serving for Christmas?

Cook's ham. (lower sodium) (otherwise I may as well sleep next to the water cooler) dribbled with sugar free maple syrup, some apple cider and pineapple slices (no sugar added) and dried cherries.

Cheese Lasagne (low carb noodles) and Asparagus for a veggie. Biscuits....and assorted traditional Christmas cookies....that should be enough.. besides the extra stuff people bring over...they're all taking some home, I don't want to deal with it. After all it will be New Year's .........and we all know what that means.

hehehe lots of suger for christmas ham. soooo good.
really the salt from tha ham cuts it down a little bit.
but mom needs to be careful being diabetic. so she eats nothing till ham is done, and it is a great treat for her.

I'm thinking rare prime rib and crab claws..melted butter...yeasty rolls and maybe a salad of some type.
and planty of snacks all day long.

Me, I'm trying to figure out how to eat at all your houses' come Christmas. It sounds like everyone has some mighty fine feasts planned. We usually have a traditional meal from my hubbies side....beef stroganoff, made with good beef, real cream and sour cream, served with either buttered potatoes with dill or egg noodles with dill. Probably beets for the vegg.

I haven't decided yet. I am making a ham and a brined turkey for the employee christmas party at my house, (hosting my FIRST party EVAR) and everyone coming is bringing sides or desserts. For Christmas though I should cook something special, I should take votes from the family.
