Today was our July 4th--roasted a pig -steaks-dogs- burgers and every kind of salad you can think of-oh and the desserts!!! wowowow!!! That goodness my MIL lives next door-it's at her house...LOL...We had fireworks too...we can't do that many because we used to get the across the border and it was a huge show-police came one year and tod=ld us no more-yet they watched from across the pond and said they were great -and sorry to spoil our fun:-( Happy 4th everyone!!

Sleep in Monday and watch the mamma hens with their chicks. Hike the mountian in the evening.

Work on clearing space for the run for the new coop, chipping brush and moving rocks ~ big rocks in the afternoon, then off to my sister's house for the annual family picnic.

Everybody is supposed to be bringing their puppies, so this should be fun.
