So, what do we all do with our first eggs?

Scrambled our first 5 and had them with morel mushrooms frozen this past Spring. Morels and scrambled eggs has always been a favorite meal, made even more so with our first eggs.

I have about 2-3 months before I expect my girls to lay their first eggs.
When I do get the first, It is either over easy, or going strait into a glass with some hot sauce and salt and pepper and will be drank as a raw egg shooter.
Either way I'm sure it will be worth the wait and effort

I was just as curious to see the inside as the out, over easy was how I had my pullets very first egg

I'm getting some peewees right now from my 19 week old Dominiques, I save them for some children I know who think it's pretty special to have eggs just "their" size.
some peewee's I got yesterday.
Very cool reminds me of being a kid and the fun of collecting the egss and then eating them ;-) still just as exciting and fun!

Those are nice looking eggs for first eggs! I still only have one. I'm patiently waiting for more, but I can't wait to open it up and see how it looks!

But the one you got was fantastic! Our chickens started to lay on Monday. We have one almost medium Buff Orp egg and three very small RIR eggs. If we stay on the current schedule we should have two eggs tomorrow. I am really looking forward to seeing the eggs our Moran and Wellsummer lay!

I got another one today. It was smaller and much darker. A beautiful dark brown. I have not taken a picture of it yet.
Strange thing. It had a hole in it, so I probably won't use it.
